Blake burnt his herbs....oh dear... ashes to ashes..it has really set him back
He is ditching the charred herbs and just using fresh ones instead

Tati using all the prawns for her curry heads tails body add flavour to the sauce
Yotam likes that Tati picked 2 ingredients instead of 1,,the trout and the prawns... laksa is always a winner.

He is also worried about Blake and Cravat agrees.... they could have done anything

Blake has thr simplest dish there. It is going to have to be perfect he doesnt want to go home and feels he has a lot more to show
but those potatoes look very large for the time he has left

Tatis noodles look good..she makes em from scratch of course...her strategy cook what I love and what I think the judges love as well.
Ben is ready to break up the honeycomb... cravat says make sure it is not blobs on the plate - make sure it is coherent and Totam said make sure every ingredient tastes wonderful.. not everybody takes a perfect bite

He is also relying on touch for the steaks. It could send him home unless he knows how it should feel.. poor bugger is really frazzled as he blends the spuds

Blake. so he is blending the spuds..the gantry and judges are scared for him.. it will break up the proteins and end up gluey and that is eactly what has happened... blakes spuds are glue... gantry say dont use it... he uses it.. looks dreadful..he tries a butter sauce... oh dear

1st into the tasting room is Tati..she is so nervous and feels she really pushed herself
smoked trout and prawn lakhsa... it looks great and smells fantastic. She must have worked really hard in those 60minutes .. gary said it is hard to stop eating it Gutzy and Cravat agree.. Totam is not arguing either!!!

Ben is next and he is happy with the elements but the fear of if it eats well together is hanging over him
Yotam looks at it with suspicion with plated desserts it is either total failure or sublime
Yotam says it delivers what you see on the plate. not better not worse - It is ok but is flat
Matt says its bits on the plate Very underwhelming
Gary says if you made some small changes would make a big difference

omg Gutzy says that is not glue .. it is paste... poor bugger... steak is well cooked... cravat plays with the glue.... Totam said bacon was the hero, but it it just a crumb.....

Sachie’s Kitchen. She’s a sweet little Japanese girl from NZ I think, touring Japan and cooking. Also Mercurio’s Menu has been good. Probably years old, but I’ve never seen it before. Saturday Kitchen can be good depending on the personality of the presenter on the day. This morning I was up early and Donal Skehan was on. He’s an Irish cook who has travelled the globe making shows.
