blue salmon being cooked to order..... gordon not happy,, salmon is ready get it out says Chloe
oh no said Gordon when he checks the salmon it is raw, not for me.. but as hub said it is for normal people ha ha

krisitin notes how far behind they are and i worried for her dessert

salmon goes to judges.. they think it is basic but t hen agree the skin is perfect.. gutzy said it is rare ( it is perfect for me) gaz says his is over, cravat is perfectly cooked.

red team dessert gordon says four at a time. gordon yells at Jenny put t he tray down a nd work with both hands

dessert goes to judges......maybe a bit small they think icecream texture is good. gutzy is loving it..... cravat seems to enjoy it..... gutzy said it is smart when doing 50 covers, not a huge amount of process

so red seems to have all the desserts done too

how are the blue doing.... Kristin and Aldo leading the charge
the judges get it and love the look of it and adore the taste of it......
so who is going to be safe and which team is up for elim.

red is safe...dishes not perfect...... blue got a lot of praise but lost out mainly
because of disorganisation and the fact that the salmon was so unevenly cooked

blue team is up

loki has a pin does he play it and stay safe or have a go.... he has a go

gordon sends one of his head chefs to set the test
it is a roast chook with summer vegies.. with a twist... there is mousse involved... green herb consomme............ looks beautiful

they get to taste it
he warns then not to break the skin on the chook.. the mousse must stay in place

thre are seven pages of the recipe

damn it looks good. hub is watching intently as he asks.. do you think you would like this.. yes please

matt checks techniques... some are really good, some too coarse...

Chloe is powering along being mindful about the skin
Ben feels good aobut it cos of his butchering skills
samira advises kristin how to get the wishbone out....
ben's looks good.....

chloes is now slowing down and is freaking out over the skin

she is in real trouble with it.. Gutzy comes up to help
jo is going okay
loki has cut himself
ben and nona seem to be okay with piping the mousse under the skin.... then it is wrapped and into the water bath

Chloe's is not looking good at all seems to have less mousse
Jo is now moving onto the consomme.. she says she should be fine if she follows the recipe
Loki seems to be making a stew rather than caramelising

you know how it goes....... some doing good other struggling

Jo seems to be doing the best... Ben is doing well enough

Jos chook does look good.. and so do the vegies....

others... haven't cut it yet// sarah worried it is overcooked

lokis looks like a terrible mess and is very behind...now he spills his consomme

and time is up
chloes doesnt have enough mousse

Jo is up and the judges are very impressed with how it looks as they eat it they love it

nonas looks pretty good too and it eats well they say

Aldo has miles of mousse.... but it is tasty

chloe the note the lack of mousse.. it doesn't look like the nicest plated dish either..cravat says is it as overcooked as it looks? consomme is water, flat

Ben's looks great .... they comment on how well he is doing and then they try it. eats as well as it looks

kristins is fine

Samira again lovely

Sarah..... too much colour on vegies... they try it.... it is overcooked consomme is nice

next Loki.. oh dear chook dry concomme boring vegies rushed herbs are nice

bens was so good it could have been served in gordons restaurant dish of the day went to Jo

sarah chloe and loki get called up

alas for Loki his was the worst.. and he leaves with an immunity pin

best dish today gets you out of the invention test and you get a chance to go for immunity

mystery box today has a surprise... 20.00 to spend at coles... anything you like
75 mins to cook a dish and the staples under the bench
only the top 5 dishes will be tasted

off they go to the supermarket will they have enough cash to get what they want?

appparently so time to cook
Samira is doing dumplings.... she bought wisely and I thin she is making a ricotta

aldo makes peanut butter ice cram

nona is making fettuccine with meatballs

Lisa is cleaning mussels... dish is mussels n chilli ginger on a bed of noodles..
Pear and ricotta ravioli.. mmm proscuitto and all under 20,00

sarah is making a carrot salad 7 ways ... I do not want to know! gutzy is keen.... but make sure the flavour is intense

Genene pear ricotta ravioli judges warn it could b a bit wet
kristin is doing a dessert white chic is not chic,, grrrrr hearing peaches and gorgonzola... vile
oh anyway let;s ff to the tasting

Samira is first up tick tick tick best ricotta

genene.....sure looks good.... she tried one and loved it presents beautifully says gaz
gutz loves it.... gaz wuld eat t he whole lot

kristin. gutzy picked up on the jelly noy being perfect

sarah carrot salad they loved it

and the musslel dish was lovely

invention test... MC classic the team realay.. oh crap that is always hard

teams of four cook for 15 mins 45secs to hand over.. bloody hell sashi takes more than that to say the first word

no idea what you are cooking or what team
and there is an ingredient under the cloche that must be used in a significant way

ingredient is... honey ( blah) honey and soy wings would do me
oh god honey and choc ganache
fried figs with honey and cheese
lord knows

honey ice cream
of course will those following get it

kristin honeycomb ice cream twill... not sure if t he others will see that

change over
