Malaysian Blue team is Sandeep, Steph, Tessa, Tim, Larissa,
Indian Green team is Simon, Anushka, Tati, Joe, Blake, ben and christina

might have some names wrong

must do three dishses one vegie one protein
90 mins to prepare for 120 diners and more to serve
losers go to elim...

so the mad rush..

keep things simple keep that it mind blake.. dont use skewers keep it on the bone

Yellow is doing chilli con carne, lamb casadea and charred corn
Green is doing fish curry, tandoori chicken and samosa
Blue is doing beef satay, veggie nassadori and coconut prawns
Kitchens are so small for 6 people

Yotam loves the smells in the blue kitchen
dont do individula samosas too fiddly
same with chili con carne... too messy.... make it dryer so it fits into a lettuce cup
So many prawns to prep

good lord how is he doing that rice..... doesnt seem to be washing it anywhere enough for me...... I can see a disaster

he tells us nasi goreng fresh fluffy rice.. tick jasmine is full of starch.... she instead of rinsing it over and over like I do he tries to boil it out.. well I dunno maybe it works
Yellow having trouble with the tortillas..... they are just so time intensive.. Kyle is working hard.... he needs help but Derek is working on filling

Nicole helps out and they change it to a tortilla... and then Derek helps out

green has it all coming together.. just ten mins late!

Tati having trouble.. such a small wok... has to batch it.... and the curry is more compplex..... Anushka is working away on something lol I am not sure
jotam and cravat come along and say forget individual samosas make a big pie and slice it.. simpler... Anushka says not good idea cos it is not a pie dough but she will give it a go

Sandeep nearly burning the kitchen down!!!

Anushka talks so fast.. it seems she has some huge samosa... like apasty size. is it in the deep fryer? lol I am lost

and Sandeep realises there is no rice.. it is like that ghastly congee and all the other stuff is way behind.... Tessa says do less toms and cut them in half.... then we hear him wial and tell us what a disaster it all it!!!

Tessa is unaware of this right now she realises that frying off eggs and putting it on top wont work so she will mix the eggs through it......

Yellow are so noisy but I think it is working!

Blake changes to mint yoghurt sauce

diners seem to be enjoying the yellow teams food

pulled lamb tacos go to judges
looks good.. seems easy to eat.. tastes great

net dish from yello charred corn with chipotle mayo yep looks good tastes good

Mexican beef lettuce cups with tomatilla... looks fantastic.. and apparently tastes pretty good too... yotam said it is good but the least impressive dish Cravat and others agree

so samosa didnt work in oven .. they change to the bigger one in the deep fryer
Sandeep is absoltel beside himself.. rice so gluggy so changing it to fried rice

oh no green forgot the rice for the fish curry so it goes out without it

Blue team is 1/3 the way there
Blue dishes to the judges
Prawns first Looks great and Judges love them
Really good sauce
Yotam is impressed with Stephs prawn peeling
Beef satay next
They love the amount but doesnt look caramalised enough
Hasnt been cooked enough. Too large More time in the pan would have been good
Will be a crowd pleaser if nothing else

Sandeep is worried he has sent them to elimination
Nasi goreng is last dish to the judges Its a bit risotto-ish. Bit claggy
That rice was stodgy no 2 ways about it....Rice is over cooked

Worst dish so far
A missed opportunity
1 win, 1 draw and 1 really embarrising loss

Green is finally serving food
1st green dish to the judges if tandoori chicken

Presentation is disappointing
Are they trying to cover something up?
The Up side. Love the char on the chicken and still juicy but sauces are a big miss

Next are the samosas
Look good and They like the taste and the dough is good
Delicious and the Same sauce as the other dish

Final dish is the curry
Asked if they intended to serve rice with it. Admitting they ran out of time
Judges saying they are in trouble No rice but the flavours are good Cooking of fish is beautiful Best of the green dishes

clearly Yellow is safe Green and Blue are up for elim.. which one
Blue got the dishes out one great one average and one fail
Green all your dishes wer missing something so Green are up for elim

In tonights elimination is Simon, Anushka, Tati, Christine, Blake & Ben.
two rounds both focussing on the deli First round identify the item on a deli counter. 1st 3 to get it wrong will cook to survive
Tati is nervous but also excited
Yotam is in the MC kitchen too Yotam is focusing on the positives of yesterdays cook.

Both rounds focus on the deli. There are at least 50 items in there
Simon first cos he is at the start of the line you can smell and taste the ingredient
He picks 3. dolmades And gets it correct
Christina next She picks number 2. She is going for the obvious first. Hash brown is correct
Anushka now. She picks 10. Smoked salmon keeps her safe
Tati picks number 24. Semi sundried tomato is right
Blake next He is confident He picks 41 which is mortadella.and is right

Ben is the last for 1st time. Picks 29 bacon
