Lari a nd Steph are going well and sending food out. oh no Larri and Steph have set the kitchen alight and the only way to put the fire out taints the food .. now no-one can eat it..the poor buggers..Gutzy comes to calm them down.... he tells the diners to join another line..... looks like they are gonna be the worst dish and least money.... I think they should be excused.... it is not their fault
judges have Derek and Abeys food... they have huge lines
Spring rolls are good. they love them
delicious crispy crunchy hot
generous filling..loads of chook.. way better than food court stuff
crispy pork now
good batter
on the money for chinese gutzy loves everyhing about it
all judges enjoy it
walleed and Jo charred corn mmmmm fresh lime great colour juicy buttery
the pork is great too.. light on chili..
Brits Loaded baked spud and brioche covered in foil makes it soggy. boring.. but plenty of beef.. needs something crunchy and fresh.... not a lot to recommend the dish
Chris and Nicole... peri peri chook and chorizo both dishes look good
cravat said very bland.. no heat, no seasoning ..gutzy says in trouble

results time
bottom 2 teams for elimination
as steph and larissa had to shut down because of the fire they automatically go into elimination. they raised $55 UNFAIR
teams food that they judges loved most was Abbey and Derek
teams raised more than 5000 dollars for second bite
team who raised the most money with 1045 dollars was Nicole and Anushka
Simon, Abbey, Derek, Nicole and Anushka will cook for immunity later this week
Joining Larissa and Steph in the pressure test is Tim and Ben and it is a dessert
bottom 2 teams for elimination
as steph and larissa had to shut down because of the fire they automatically go into elimination. they raised $55 UNFAIR
teams food that they judges loved most was Abbey and Derek
teams raised more than 5000 dollars for second bite
team who raised the most money with 1045 dollars was Nicole and Anushka

Montrachet some restaurant in Bowen hills.. do I sound surprised you bet it used to
be such a dive in my day
No recipe....must remember EVERYTHING and replicated in taste and ook.. least like is going home

some red ball and chocolate thing...1 dish takes 6 months of practise to design..they look stunned.. seems like a waste of time to me... 2.5hrs to prep once they reach their cooking stations...no notes till t hey start to cook

omg i could never do this challenge
showing how to plate, dont touch it or you will leave a fingerprint
it is so intricate and detailed
this is going to be a hard elimination
time to head to the joinery where they are cooking
time started 2.5 hrs
all them are writing what they remember down
larissa and ben are happy with their ratios
steph says she has surprised herself

Tim has gone to bens bench by accident
working on his sorbet and hoping he remembered enough
he cant remember how much stabaliser - he says it is either 3g or 10g
he knows how important it is to get it right he gets it wrong and uses 10 instead of three poor tim
Steph remembered the recipe amounts by comparing them to her own...quite a smart way to do it actually

Tim is assembling his nowhe forgot to put the booze on his sponges
he has 3 with the booze on the sponges, hopefully he rememebrs which ones

larissa working on her tempered chocolate, she is not confident with this at all

fruit side is great-bsponge is good mousse is light
well executed sorbet
good passionfruit flavour
a good version from memory
larissa next
she is very nervous
she was doing so well but went wrong at the end
she is proud of what she has plated and also she is scared
finished dish looks very similar and sorbet has a great texture.
nice balance between flavours
taste point he would be happy for it to be served at his restaurant
based off that i think she is safe and tim will go home
Ben next and he is proud of what he has produced
he knows that he has issues and it isnt perfect but is confident with his flavours
it is really close to his- hopefully it tastes similar

bens bar has a slight lean and he is missing details
the temper is too fine, bar is very light
sorbet lacking colour clearly not as goos as Larris or Stephs
The final dish is Tims

oh it's all melting it hasnt set at all
texture is all wrong the look on their face says it all
too soft, dry and this dish is totally out of kilter
he has issues with ratios

tims dish puts the success of the other 3 in perspective
no doubt about it, tim is going home
