We had a salty problem with our dinner tonight too. Son followed a recipe for Mongolian beef. Dreadfully salty. We tried saving it by reducing it and adding plain water, then cooked the vegies in the same pot. The plain noodles helped too. Whoever came up with that recipe needs flogging.

With the one i had the gorgonzola was obviously the culprit. Sounded so nice on the menu. Was almost inedible but we are regulars at this restaurant so i didnt want to complain too much. I did mention it was too salty for my taste.

I made chicken snitzels with a parmesan and panko crumb crust. Cooked them outside in an elec frypan. Delicious.

We're having that on Saturday.

Tonight I had two glasses of wine, three olives and a slice if prosciutto. My son's GF cooked a really good popette in homemade sauce with pasta but after two glasses of wine I couldn't be bothered eating.

I am really enjoying cold watermelon at the moment, seedless.

Yep. Meatballs. We use pork mince, freshly blitzed bread for the crumbs, and make the sauce. Packet pasta though

We didn't need dinner last night. Ate so much at the buffet lunch.
Appertiser, melon feta and fennel salad.
Entree, sweet and sour fish with steamed rice and prawn crackers.
Dessert, pavlova.
Cheeseboard and coffee.
