so they enter the building giggling and carrying on..... first cook... they feel special, it is awe inspiring...so what is the task? gary reminds them top 24 duh

Leah has finally calmed down a bit but i see a jump or two Tim is crapping his daks... good lord havent heard that expression in awhile thankfullyIf you could only ever cook one thing for the rest of your life this is it. open pantry 75 mins cook anything you like Only 4 best dishes... if you are one of them you go for a massive advantage tomorrow... one of you will get an immunity pin guaranteed

the spag bol is not going well at all and cravat tells her so
Larissa so far behind..... dessert george and gary hover caramelised pannacotta ...bacon crumble choc icecream and a choc sponge. sugar overload time in MC is different from real time she tells us but now she freaks as panna wont set..into blast chiller

Jo is happy with chook

Tessa doing a chook curry calls Gary Gaza almost break down
derek has to nail the pastry said gaz
shish barak doing good...udges keen to try

Tim is feeling time pressure.... will the lamb cook in time?

oh no the panna wont set even in blast chiller she tries to plate regardless.. alas it slops on the plate

Tim is up first and the lamb is a big hit George agrees Gary says they were wrong thinking there was too much going on as it works perfectly together.

Derek is next and then gutsy says gary is trying to fatten me up

jess made a nice steak.. I would eat that not overcooked

leah boiled choc cake with passionfruit sorbet

kyle Prawn and crab broth nice


Steph the spag bol... it is an opportuity for learning ha ha

mandy shish barak is a hit,,,,,

there are a pile of dishes as you know but i am bored with them...

looks good... tastes good

Dee's mum's curry,,, of course this is a hit... I am beginning to work out who the favourites are.. she is one

poor larissa it looks terrible but it tastes fantastic..... make it as a custard in future they all agree it is a terrific dish

so Dee got dish of the day

well Frocky it is good sticking to what you know, but it is also good to expand and learn more... for all we know tha tis all Dee has ever cooked.. she should be good at it

Finally, I caught up with the fiirst episode. Poor yiayia, no support from hubby. She wouldn’t shutup! She was putting herself and her food down. Poor thing.

Glass apple ravioli girl is a bit over the top.

Love Prince Harry. Love pork belly...

Woo! Dee with the Sri Lankan coconut custard. I’ve made that! Hello judges, it’s supposed to be sweet. Lucky she got through with the second cook.

I disagree with the judges so often, I’m a perfect armchair critic. :lol:

Dad with twins on way looks good. That’s two of them that love cooking with vegies this year.

I think I’m going to have to wear ear muffs and read the subtitles. Too much woo-wooing and whistling going on. It sounds like a daytime chat show.

I like the look of the honey cake the Armenian lady made. She’s very emotional. Geez, Matt Preston looks like a giant next to her.

Ok, time to find something else to watch now, hopefully something that will put me to sleep.
